Tripod and Piggy-Back
Like most of us, I started with film and then learned to hyper it (now old school). This is my favorite
and easiest way to shot astrophotography. I typically use the 100 to 800 ISO range for digital
imaging. Tripod mounted shots can run from a few seconds to 30 seconds max to keep star-trailing to
a minimum. Piggy-Back will be a few minutes or longer since the camera is tracking. Now, all of my
shooting is done digitally, (I have not shot a roll of film for a couple of years)!
